1)Imagine a train traveling with a velocity of 10kmph to west and you in train is running with 5kmph to east.
Now,your velocity relative to a passenger in train is 5kmph to east,but to someone on the platform your velocity is 5kmph to west.
2)you are travelling in a bus and your friend is traveling in another bus beside your bus with same velocity.
Now,relative to you and your bus he is at rest but to someone standing on the road your friend and you are at motion(this is relative motion and the first one is relative velocity)
