In an endothermic reaction, heat energy is used up in the reaction.Thus after the reaction temperature decreases.

Some reactions do occur only at some minimum temperature which is above room temperature .

The temperature lowers down after the reaction , this change is usually detected by clinical thermometer in some lab experiments .
