What does the title of the short story "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and So Forth" by John Updike symbolize? *Urgent question*
I initially said that it represented the carefree, teenager attitude of the high school students. If this is good, please help provide an example from the story (this is what I'm actually struggling with).

Not a specialist by any means, but ...
Explanation:
It reminds me of Macbeth’s speech “tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow...” from Act 5, Scene 5. Possibly one of the most heartfelt and nihilistic comments on life ever made.
