Cellulose is a polymer formed from a monomer beta glucose .

Explanation:

Cellulose is a linear polymer, of around 10,000 glucose units.
Wood, paper, and cotton all contain cellulose.
Cellulose is a white fibrous substance with no flavor and odor, insoluble in water and organic solvents. It is the main ingredient of plant cell walls.

Cellulose, as I said above in the answer, is formed by beta glucose. Beta glucose is named beta because the first hydroxyl group on the C-atom is above the "ring".

Cellulose has the formula #(C_6H_10O_5) n#, n is the degree of polymerization.
E.g. the #n# in cotton is approximately 7000.
