Like any other biological molecule RNA can be broken down by heat. As heat increases above RNAs' optimum temperature the hydrogen bonds in the molecule begin to break and the molecule can no longer function as its bonds are broken by the heat energy.

No matter how the RNA is arranged whether straight or folded it can be destroyed/denatured by high levels of heat.
