Seeing / hearing sparks / crackling when you pull off an acrylic jumper. Touching the metal frame after bouncing on a trampoline. Feeling a shock when you close the car door on a dry day after travelling. Lightning. Photocopiers use it to stick toner to paper. A plastic comb rubbed on fabric attracts little (tiny) pieces of paper (and can also deflect a trickle of water from a tap.) Balloons stick to walls when you rub them on your hair.
All of these have one thing in common - friction between two electrically insulating materials that causes a net movement of charge. The spark is just the electrons returning to where they came from!
