Clearly the applied force is `0.9 N` which is greater by magnitude than the resistive force against its motion i.e `0.15 N`

So,horizontally,the system has an unbalanced force of `(0.9-0.15)N` or,`0.75 N` along the direction of the applied force.

So,its acceleration will be `0.75/0.1 m/s^2` or,`7.5 m/s^2`
