#(A)# Covalent bonds.

Explanation:

The biological macromolecules i.e proteins, lipids & carbohydrates mostly arise when their respective monomers link with each other via strong covalent bonds.

Examples :

  • Proteins are macromolecules made up of amino acids.(monomers). These amino acids link with each other through covalent bonds i.e peptide bonds to form polypeptide chains of proteins.

  • Carbohydrates are also high molecular weight biomolecules made up of monosaccharides(monomers). These monosaccharides link with each through covalent bond i.e glycosidic bond or linkage.

Hope it helps...
