The temperature at which a liquid turns into steam by adding heat is called it's boiling or vaporization point.
Explanation:
When a liquid is heated as its boiling point, its temperature remains constant. The heat energy given to the liquid as its boilong point is used up in changing its state from liquid to gas (vapour) without any increase in its temperature.
The quantity of heat that changes unit mass of a liquid into gas as its boiling point without change in its temperature is called its latent heat of vaparization.
