Frequency increases by 0.49875%

Explanation:

Assuming fundamental modes of vibration, frequency of a string is gicven by:

f=#sqrt(T/(m/L))/(2*L)# where

T= string tension,
m= mass of string
L= length of string

So basically if m and L are constant

f =# k * sqrt(T)# wher k is a constant

If T changes from 1 to 1.01 ( 1% inccease)
F increase by #sqrt 1.01# =1.0049875
That is a 0.49875% increase.
