When solving an inequality does the variable only have one definite solution?

When solving an inequality, the solution to the problem will be a simplified inequality. The only exception to this could be if you are trying to find the solution to two inequalities, and one for example says #x>=5# and the other says #x<=5#, because in that case 5 would be the only number that fit both inequalities. In most cases however, there will be multiple solutions, so it is best to just express all of the solutions with a simplified inequality.
