Rewite the equation by transposing the 54 to the left side.
#x^2 -15x +54=0#

What are the factos of 54?
#54 = 1 *54 or 2 *27 or 3 *18 or 6 *9#

Choose one of the factors where the two numbers can add up to 15 , so that would be 6 and 9

Rewite your original equation
#x^2 -6x -9x+ 6 * 9=0#
#x(x-6) -9(x-6) =0#
#(x-6)(x-9)=0#
So factors #x=6 and 9#
