3.00 moles of gas are in a container with a volume of 60.0 liters and at a temperature of 400. K What is the pressure inside the container?

Did I do this right?

Pxx 60 = 3 xx 0.0821 xx 400
P xx 60 = 98.52
P = 0.61

If i did it wrong, can you tell me what i need to improve on? I also have another question. When i get to the last step where i need to divide, which number do i divide with? The number with the unknown variable?

The pressure of the gas is 1.64 atmospheres.

Explanation:

To solve this problem, we need to use the ideal gas law:

PV=nRT

P is pressure in atmospheres, V is volume in liters, n is moles, R is the universal gas constant, and T is the temperature in Kelvins.

Plug the known values into the equation and solve for the pressure.

(P)(60.0)=(3.00)(0.08206)(400)

P=((3.00)(0.08206)(400))/(60.0)=1.64 atm
