Adolf Hitler and Osama Bin Laden.

Explanation:

Adolf Hitler ordered the internment of Jews and other minority groups within German controlled areas of Europe in the late 1930s and 1940s and was responsible for the death of 6 million Jews and about 5 million people of other groups (Gypsies, homosexuals, Soviet prisoners of war, etc.). I'd say death is a pretty clear violation of human rights.
Osama Bin Laden was the founder al-Qaeda, the terrorist group responsible for the attacks of September 11, 2001, and other inhumane actions.

Human rights violations are pretty common, Minor as well as major violations are an everyday occurrence.

Explanation:

Amnesty International provides a definition of Human Rights and some basic services to help those who have had their Human rights violated. (Their Site seems to be having difficultly right now). Yes Hitler and Idi Amin probably violated Human rights but there are many other examples. It is a very common crime and happens on a daily basis in the world.

In Hitler's time there possible was no legalistic Human Rights definition to make comparisons. Human Rights in International legal terms is really a product of the Nuremberg Trials after World War 2. Basic concepts of Human Rights is also a product of the Enlightenment that took place in Europe the late 1700s. These ideas brought the American and French Revolutions.

The treatment of various indigenous peoples in the Americas and other places in the world. They were often killed either by actively hunting them, by destroying the environment that they lived in or by purposeful neglect of providing the basics of human life even though agreements existed to deal with such matters.

The Rwandan Genocide, events in the former Yugoslavia are other examples.
