Explanation:

To solve this problem, you have to add a #0# after the #3# in #0.3# so both of the decimals have the same amount of digits.
Then you go about multiplying it like normal.
#0.57# × #0.30# #=# #0.171#
To find out where you should place the decimal point, you count how many digits come after the decimal, in this case #2# digits come after each decimal point in each decimal.
You count paces started from the last number until you count four places and then place your decimal where you stopped.

0.1710

You can get rid of the #0# as it s unneeded.
