Can you calculate the probability that a randomly chosen freshman studies more than 9 hours? If not, explain why not. (Use information given below)
A study of college freshmen's study habits found that the time (in hours) that freshmen study each week follows a distribution with a mean of 7.2 hours and a standard deviation of 5.3 hours. Can you calculate the probability that a randomly chosen freshman studies more than 9 hours? If not, explain why not.

We cannot calculate it because we do not know the shape of the distribution, and hence we cannot know the area on the right of point x = 9
