Our Earth is unique from the other terrestial planets in that we have tectonic plates.
Explanation:
Tectonic plates are a side-effect of the Earth being in the so-called Goldilocks zone, where the location of the Earth was just right for the protoplanet heating to result in a somewhat molten and highly pressurized mantle, and as cracking of our planet happened (also happens to some jovian moons), the pieces of the crust became our tectonic plates.
The tectonic plates move very slooooowly, but they are technically always in constant contact with each other, resulting in what is termed as tectonic activity, and it is tectonic activity that creates much of interaction between the four spheres of the Earth (lithosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and atmosphere).
