SPACE OF MIXING (A and B gases)
Diffusion is when gas A spreads throughout a volume of gas B,
Effusion is when gas A moves from its chamber through a "tiny hole" into an open chamber containing gas B

FORCE OF MIXING
Diffusion of gas A into gas B is exerted by a difference of A-concentrations.
Effusion of gas A into gas B is exerted by a difference of A-pressures

RATE OF MIXING
Effusion transports particles faster (than diffusion) because effusing particles don't have to move around other particles to get to their destination; created negative pressure causes quick movement.
Diffusion rate is limited by the size and kinetic energy of the other particles in the solution, in addition to the concentration gradient.
