Explanation:

Note that the middle two circles are highly connected, so forced to be 1 and 8, with the top and bottom circles taking the values 7 and 2.

Then 3 and 4 need to be disconnected from 2 so their placement is determined up to symmetry.

Finally 5 and 6 have to be placed in order that 4 and 5 are not connected.

So the solution is unique up to symmetry.
