There are different ways a moon can be formed

Explanation:

A moon is a non-manmade celestial body orbiting a planet or asteroid. As u probably already know the earth has one moon, "the moon". We dont know exactly how it was made but there are different theories of how it was made and how other moons are made.

The two ways we currently know of how a moon can be formed is that it was made at the same time as its planet and has orbitet around it since it got created or it erlier was an asteroid or other celestial body captured by a planets gravity and started orbiting the planet. A moon is created in the same way as a planet, by smaller particles combining, gaining more and more mass and eventually becomming a moon.
