#(3x^2-14x-5)/(5-x)=((3x+1)(x-5))/(-(x-5))=-(3x+1)#

Explanation:

By using "Trinom" you may write #3x^2-14x-5=(3x+1)(x-5)#

Now you may also write #(5-x)=-(x-5)#

Thus:
#(3x^2-14x-5)/(5-x)=((3x+1)(x-5))/(-(x-5))=-(3x+1)#
