I'm not sure how you arrived at #14.7#.

#147 "m"/"s"# should be correct as long as you realize the units of velocity are #"m"/"s"# and not #"m"/"s"^2#.

Explanation:

#a = 19.6 "m"/"s"^2#

#t = 7.50 "s"#

#v = at = (19.6)(7.50) = 147 "m"/"s"#
