Let the slow car's speed be v. Velocity*time = distance, so then we can write

#2*v*6 h - v*6 h = 204 mi#

#v*6 h = 204 mi#

#v = (204 mi)/(6 h) = 34 (mi)/h#

#2*v = 2*34 (mi)/h = 68 (mi)/(hr)#
