Since, The value of #sinx# can only lie between [1,-1] for any value of #x in RR#.
i.e #-1<=sinx<=1# for every #x in RR#

so in the equation

#6sin(x-2) = 14#

#rArr sin(x-2) = 2.33 #

and #2.33>1#

Therefore the question is wrong since the value of the #sin# can never be #2.33#.
