ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate)

Explanation:

In respiration, the cell generates three different types of chemicals, or so called "hydrogen carrier", which will transform into energy in the form of ATP, which is the major power source.

In glycolysis and Krebs cycle, ADP (adenosine diphosphate) and an organic phosphate group is fixed together, forming ATP (adenosine triphosphate) with the help of ATP-synthase. In these ATP molecules, the phosphate group at the end can be broken off chemically to produce the energy required, so most of the energy stored in our body (that is released by respiration) is in the form of ATP.
