Mendelian genetics and polygenic inheritance are completely unrelated.

Explanation:

  • Mendelian genetics says that a single gene or "factor" controls a single trait.

  • Polygenic inheritance is a phenomenon in which a polygenic trait(Trait whose expression is controlled by more than one gene) is inherited from parent to offspring.

So the only similarity I see is that both involve statistics and probability
