# Question #6ab58

Jan 6, 2015

lets start of with an example:

$\left(\frac{64}{81}\right) b y \left(\frac{8}{9}\right)$

to start of we have to take the reciprocal of $\left(\frac{8}{9}\right)$ this nothing but $\left(\frac{9}{8}\right)$

so now we go ahead and multiply both the nos.

$\frac{64}{81} \cdot \frac{9}{8}$
this is nothing but $\frac{8}{9}$

this can be used for all numbers which are rational
