# Question #525b1

You just have to learn them. There is no easy way:

${H}_{2} S {O}_{4}$ sulfuric
$H N {O}_{3}$ nitric
$H C l$ hydrochloric

These are the important strong acids that you will come across.

I'll put in the ions they contain if that helps:

$2 {H}^{+} + S {O}_{4}^{2 -}$

${H}^{+} + N {O}_{3}^{-}$

${H}^{+} + C {l}^{-}$

Note what they all have in common?

They all produce ${H}^{+}$ ions which is a useful definition of an acid.
