Hydrogen peroxide decomposes to give water and oxygen according to the balanced chemical equation

#2H_2O_(2(aq)) -> 2H_2O_((l)) + O_(2(g))#

Because hydrogen peroxide is unstable from a thermodynamic point of view, it will undergo a decompositon reaction to produce water and oxygen.

If the reaction is not catalyzed, the decompopsition will occur at a vey slow rate.
