Wet air has less pressure.

Explanation:

Air pressure is the weight of the atmosphere at a given spot. The atmosphere is made up primarily of nitrogen. Atmospheric nitrogen (N2) is heavier than water vapor. Therefore an air mass with more water is lighter than a dry air mass. A lighter air mass by definition has lower pressure. Therefore an area with less pressure has higher humidity. High humidity leads to precipitation.
