There are four different quantum numbers
Explanation:
The first tells the shell in which the electron lies
The second tells the subshell in which the electron lies
The third tells in which orbital it lies
The fourth tell us the direction of the movement of electrons in the shell
All four quantum numbers have different range of values
From these quantum numbers exact position of the electron can't be determined but the place where are maximum chances of finding an electron can be determined.
