"Healthiness" is a very subjective thing......

Explanation:

Olive oil margarine uses olive oil as main feedstock, but it is mixed with a solid (at room temperature) vegetable fat base in order to give it structure at room temperature. This solid fat base is more of a regular margarine, and yes, it will have a higher trans-fat content than butter. Olive oil butter is a blend of this, and regular butter. The total fat content of this blend is around 70%, and saturated fat content 30%.

Regular butter, on the other hand, has a total fat content of 81%, and saturated fats content 51%. So yes, there is a difference in total fat content and saturated fat content, but its not THAT great.

So it really depends how much you consume. If you eat butter occasionally, it is likely no more unhealthy than eating olive oil-butter every day.

The idea that olive oil has some sort of health giving properties is something of a myth in any case. Olive oil only contains 11% polyunsaturated fats. Regular corn oil contains 55%!
