$= \frac{\frac{1}{\tan} x - 1}{2 - 1 - {\tan}^{2} x}$

$= \frac{\frac{1 - \tan x}{\tan} x}{1 - {\tan}^{2} x}$

$= \frac{1 - \tan x}{\tan x \left(1 - \tan x\right) \left(1 + \tan x\right)}$

$= \frac{1}{{\tan}^{2} x + \tan x}$

We get this. So question is to be checked.
