Assuming that you mean `-1 13/25` the answer is -1.52

Explanation:

You only really need to concentrate on the fraction part as the whole number will just transfer across into your decimal. You need to make the denominator of the fraction equal 100 (to do this we multiply by 4). Make sure you do the same thing with the numerator.

`(13*4)/(25*4)=52/100`

From here we can break up `52/100` into `5/10+2/100` which means we have a 5 in the tenths column and a 2 in the hundreds column.

We bring back the negative one and we have -1.52
