Length of rectangle in terms of #x# and #y# is #3x+y-4#.

If the length of a rectangle is #l# and breadth is #b#, its perimeter is #2xx(l+b)#.

As breadth is #(2x+y)# and perimeter is #10x+4y-8#, we can write this as

#2xx(l+2x+y)=10x+4y-8# and dividing by #2#, we get

#l+2x+y=5x+2y-4#

or #l=5x+2y-4-2x-y#

i.e. #l=3x+y-4#

Hence, length of rectangle in terms of #x# and #y# is #3x+y-4#.
