Solubility refers to the concentration of a solution that is reached at the point where the solution becomes saturated.

Explanation:

The solubility of most solid and liquid solutes will increase with temperature, but for gas solutes the opposite is true.

Unfortunately, there is no simple means of calculating the relationship between solubility and temperature for any of these solutes. People needed to keep tabs on solubility will consult a graph that shows this relation. Most texts and online sources will provide examples of these graphs.
