#M+n <=26#

Sum tells us we are adding.
The total can be 26, or less than 26

#M+n <=26#

Because we are dealing with an inequality, there are many possible solutions.

If the sum was exactly 26, we could show all the possible combinations on a graph.

The intercepts would be #(26,0) and (0,26)#

The shaded area represents the possible solutions, but note that only positive whole numbers can be used, because we are dealing with a physical quantity of the number of stamps.

graph{y<=-x+26 [-0.66, 79.34, -0.72, 39.28]}
