$Z n \left(s\right) + 2 H C l \left(a q\right) \to Z n C {l}_{2} \left(a q\right) + {H}_{2} \left(g\right)$

As per this equation the interacting mole ratio of $Z n \mathmr{and} H C l$ is $1 : 2$
Reacting amount of $H C l$ i= 8.2L 3.5 M HCl = $8.2 \times 3.5 m o l = 28.7 m o l$ HCl. If it requires $x m o l$ Zn then

$\frac{x}{28.7} = \frac{1}{2}$

$\implies x = \frac{28.7}{2} m o l = \frac{28.7}{2} m o l \times 65.3 g \text{/mol} \approx 937 g$
