Sound waves generally have much higher frequencies and shorter wavelengths. There are exceptions with ultra-low frequency sound waves.
Explanation:
A physical ocean or lake wave also will not have the exact mathematical form and consistency of electromagnetic or sonic waves.
An ocean wave is also much wetter and colder when experienced in person. An ocean wave can be "ridden" by a person, while a sound wave cannot be similarly used.
