Lets suppose the force of the one kid pushing in the opposite direction is called #F_2#.
#F_2=50N#
Forces in opposite directions have the difference as the resulting force. Lets call this rusulting force #F_r#
To calculate #F_r# we subtract #F_1# by #F_2#.
#F_r=F_1-F_2#
#F_r=100N-50N#
#F_r=50N#
