sin theta = -3/sqrt 10

sec theta = -sqrt10

Explanation:

since tan theta is +ve value and cos theta < 0, it situated in 3rd quadrant.

tan theta = opposite / adjacent =(-3)/-1 = 3

hypotenuse = sqrt(_3^2 + -1^2 )= sqrt 10

therefore,

sin theta = opposite/hypotenuse = -3/sqrt 10

sec theta = hypotenuse/adjacent = sqrt10/-1 = -sqrt10
