Examples :

Proteins are macromolecules made up of amino acids.(monomers). These amino acids link with each other through covalent bonds i.e peptide bonds to form polypeptide chains of proteins.

Carbohydrates are also high molecular weight biomolecules made up of monosaccharides(monomers). These monosaccharides link with each through covalent bond i.e glycosidic bond or linkage.
