Fungi are eukaryotes.

Fungi is a separate kingdom of organisms , the other two being Plant kingdom and Animal kingdom. Fungi occupy a separate kingdom because of the presence of chitin in their cell walls.

They include unicellular micro organisms like yeasts and molds , as well as multicellular fruiting forms called mushrooms.
