Can you construct a triangle that has side lengths 2 yd, 9 yd, and 10 yd?
To construct a triangle whose three sides have been given
first check whether largest side is less than the sum of other two sides (all being in same units) or not.
If it is so (i.e. largest side is less than the sum of other two sides), we can draw the triangle.
Just draw the larges side and from two sides draw twp arcs to cut at a point and join them to form a triangle as shown below (sides drawn approximately - not to scale).
