Yes, essentially everyday.

Explanation:

Natural disasters occur everyday around the world. Natural disasters can be (this isn't a complete list):

  • Hurricanes (Cyclones)
  • Tornadoes
  • Earthquakes
  • Volcanic Eruptions
  • Tsunamis
  • Landslides
  • Impacts with Space Objects (just ask the dinosaurs...)
  • Droughts (this leads to a loss of crops and livestock; famine)
  • Severe Thunderstorms
  • Wildfires
  • Insect infestations
  • Disease Epidemics

Unfortunately it is nearly impossible to predict the exact time and the scope of the damage a specific incident generate. This unpredictability is what makes natural disasters so tragic, uncertainty can lead to an inability to respond appropriately in the hours following the disaster (most fatalities don't occur during the specific incident but rather in the aftermath).
