# Does density change when mass changes for a liquid that has the same volume?

If you got the same liquid, should not $\text{density}$ be constant...?
Liquids have characteristic densities, i.e. $\text{density} ,$ $\rho = \text{mass"/"volume}$...
e.g. ${\rho}_{\text{water}} = 1.00 \cdot g \cdot m {L}^{-} 1$
