How do I find the inclination of θ (in radians and degrees) of the line with slope m? (Round your answer to 3 decimal places.) m = -3.

I can find the inclination of θ in radians, but not degrees. If someone could explain how to do that, that would be great!

#theta=1.893# radians or #108.46^@#

Explanation:

#m=tantheta# and as #m=-3#

we have #tantheta=-3# and

#theta=tan^(-1)(-3)=pi-1.249=1.893#

As #pi# radians is #180^@#, one radian is #(180/pi)^@#

hence #1.893# radians is #(1.893xx180/pi)^@#

= #108.46^@#
