You need parentheses to create the fraction. With Texas Instrument Graphing Calculators, you want to go to the Y= button (Top left hand key), there you want to enter y=1/(x-2). You do not need f(x) since it represents y. Also pay attention to your window setting, the standard window does work (-10`<=`x`<=`10 and -10`<=`y`<=`10).
