Since $y = \frac{1}{2} {x}^{2}$ is a function you simply plug in the following values $- 2 , - 1 , 0 , 1 , 2$.

$f \left(- 2\right) = 2$
$f \left(- 1\right) = - .5$
$f \left(0\right) = 0$
$f \left(1\right) = .5$
$f \left(2\right) = 2$

Now you just graph the points
$\left(- 2 , 2\right)$
$\left(- 1 , - .5\right)$
$\left(0 , 0\right)$
$\left(1 , .5\right)$
