How do we represent the magnitude of a vector in physics?

The vector is with two ways;-

Graphical method:-
Let suppose we have drawn a ray of length AB then this ray represents the vector and the arrow mark would represent its direction.

Normal method:-

The vector is represented as a letter let's say A upon which the a ray is drawn representating its direction. The vector A can also be represented as A too.
